With Thanksgiving just around the corner I was thinking about what I'm thankful for. So here's my list (in no particular order).
I'm thankful for:
1. my family; I love my husband and daughter so much (even though my little one has tantrums and loves to throw things)
2. good friends; Ones that you might not talk to everyday but will always be good friends.
3. my parents; they might not be perfect but they made me.
4. my in laws; they have excepted me into their home like their own daughter and supported my husband and I. My mother in law tells it like it is; I might not agree with her all the time but you can always count on her to give the best advice.
5. my grandpa; he taught me to appreciate good music, be kind to everyone no matter their age or color, that love is much more powerful than anger, to forgive (no matter how hard or how much you don't want to), respect your elders (it's just how it's done), family is everything, and you can do anything you put your mind to; never give up. {I love you grandpa, I wish you were here to see your great granddaughter grow up. I miss you.}
6. I'm thankful that I've always had a roof over my head and we've always been able to provide for our daughter.
7. my health and the health of my loved ones.
8. freedom; I could not imagine living in a country that puts a limit on the sex of child I could have or believes that men have more rights then women.
9. work; it's so hard to come by now a days. I'm glad I am able to help bring home the bacon (so to speak).
10. days off; sometimes you just need a break. Although being a mom I don't get too many of those.
